GROUP LEADER INFORMATION

Welcome and thank you for volunteering your gift of time and leadership.   Volunteers vastly enhance our ability to get the work done – hammering nails into siding, placing the roof shingles, dry-walling the framing of a room, and much more!  It gets busy around here.  That is why we need YOU.  Hosanna Industries is able to help so many households because people like you care about giving a needy family habitable shelter, promoting community stability, and improving a neighborhood’s sense of unity.  With your help, Hosanna Industries will be able to serve around 100 households this year!

Hosanna Industries has helped many households over the years.  We have linked prayerful hands and gathered together in the presence of God to witness great miracles.  Together, we have traveled hundreds of thousands of miles to help needy households throughout the region.

Rain or shine, the work will go on!  We work in all kinds of weather as long as the situation is safe.  We provide tools for your use.  No skills are necessary, but if you possess them, we will try to utilize them as the project permits in as effective a manner as possible.  We will find meaningful work for you and your group no matter what the age, although we do ask small children to be accompanied by an adult to ensure their safety.

Scheduled work may vary.  We take our calendar very seriously, but there are occasions when circumstances are out of our control and a different project may take precedence over the originally scheduled project.   We make every effort to follow God’s leading in the scheduling of projects because we value both our volunteers and the effective organization of their labors.

In addition, volunteer groups which will be staying on campus must note the following:

If your group is intending to use available lodging at Hosanna Industries please inform me of your needs as soon as possible as I will confirm the necessary arrangements with you.

When your group arrives on the campus of Hosanna, please lead them to the Morledge Chapel, so they can be properly introduced to the mission and familiarized with our program.

It is important that you and your group arrive on time.

You are responsible for the transportation of your group unless otherwise arranged.

It is important that all volunteers know that everyone in a particular group must show up with a willingness to serve in any reasonable capacity.  I am looking forward to serving with you.  Thanks again and please feel free to contact me with any questions.
