Commuter Readiness and Responsibilities

Readiness:

 ·           Big Smile! Warm Heart! Gracious Attitude!

·           Volunteer registration form(completely filled out with a set of copies for the Volunteer Coordinator)

·           Work Boots – An absolute must!  (No tennis shoes will be permitted on the worksite).  The work sites can be very muddy and may be dangerous if proper foot attire is not being worn.

·           Appropriate clothing– Construction work has a potential for danger and all workers need to be clothed properly.  Volunteers must wear field suitable clothing (Long pants, T-shirt or work shirt, and appropriate layers according to season.  Unsafe clothing in our typical worksite includes shorts, athletic pants, capri pants, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, sandals, etc.)

·           If you bring tools (it is not necessary that you do), please mark them with your identification.  Hosanna Industries cannot accept responsibility for your own tools.

·           Camera(if you prefer-disposable cameras are great)

·           Rain/Snow Gear - Please dress for the weather.  It is rare that a project is cancelled.

·           724-770-0262 will receive calls on voice mail 24 hours a day.

·           The Volunteer Coordinator will furnish your group leader(s) with an emergency number

·           Packed Lunch, unless otherwise notified

 Responsibilities:

 ·           Submit the Group Registration form by mail as soon as possible or fax it to our office at 724-770-0266.

·           It is important that your entire group arrives on time and reports to the Volunteer Coordinator.  Communicate any changes to Volunteer Coordinator.

·           Please arrive with all volunteer registration forms completed for each individual participant, and deliver to the Volunteer Coordinator immediately upon arrival.  Have a copy for your records.  No one will be permitted to participate without a registration form.

·           Transportation of your group is your responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
